Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology also referred to as the Yoga of Awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, hand seals or positions, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. This workshop is for anyone who has never been to a Kundalini Yoga class and wants more information or for any Yogis who desire a better or deeper understanding and firmer foundation of Kundalini Yoga.
We will be experiencing several short kriyas, pranayams, and meditations to give you a broad overview of anything you might come across in a typical Kundalini class and give you a meaningful understanding of these technologies. We will conclude with a relaxing gong bath.
Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Yoga mats are available to rent, or you can bring your own if you prefer.
Try to eat a light breakfast an hour or more before coming.
