 Yoga Alliance 200-Hour
Yoga Teacher Training Program
March –
November 2012

Program Goals & Mission
This 200-hour, 9-month program is an in-depth and comprehensive yoga teacher training instruction course which meets the requirements of the National Yoga Alliance for the first level (200 hours) Yoga Teacher Certification. Upon completion you will be entitled to apply for the Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher designation (www.yogaalliance.org). We offer an assurance of quality and excellence that will empower the serious student of yoga to become an instructor while advancing his/her own practice. We aim to provide the minimum standards for the aspiring teacher while enhancing the base knowledge of those already teaching, and to create an opportunity for personal growth as well. Since the program meets for 10 weekend intensives over 9 months, eighteen & one-half hours per weekend, we ask for a deep level of commitment and responsibility. In turn, we commit to giving the best of our knowledge, experience, time and energy which honors the essence and tradition of yoga.

Our Vision
The art of teaching yoga requires sensitivity, compassion, and understanding, as well as technical knowledge and years of practice. An effective yoga teacher, in addition to being studied in the principles of yoga, can convey their innate love, which is the essence of yoga.
